A Dog's Day Out located at 9835 River Rd Utica provides your dog a fun, healthy, safe and structured canine daycare under the constant supervision of our highly trained staff. We strive to be a leader in dog care and socialization by supplying the dogs with a fun, safe environment that fosters tolerance and love with many of the comforts of home.

The best thing you can do for your dog is to provide an opportunity to be properly socialized and trained. Many behavioral problems are caused by boredom and can be eliminated when dogs are allowed time to play. Your dog will benefit from the exercise and stimulation our staff provides throughout the day.

Our staff is certified in pet first aid, CPR and emergency situations as well as being certified in training and behavioral issues. Our facility allows us to separate dogs into different rooms, it is vacuumed and disinfected twice daily, and we have a fenced outside yard for play and potty.

Doggie Day Care - Eligibility & Rates

Dog Eligibility:

At least 4 months old
Spayed / Neutered if over 7 months
People & Dog Friendly
Not protective of water bowls, toys, or space
Proof annually of up to date rabies, DH2PP, and bordetella
Able to pass interview before enrolling
In good health

Rates: (plus tax)
Full Day = over 5 hrs)

1-2 days per week: $20.00 per day, additional dogs $14.00 each
3-5 days per week: $18.00 per day, additional dogs $12.00 each
Half Days: $12.00 per day, additional dogs $7.00 each

We are not an overnight facility.

At Karen's Bath & Doggie Works we know how nice it is to have a clean pet. You want to pet them more and have them closer to you and that leads to a healthier, happy pet. It also helps with our homes : less hair, less mess, cleaner air.

Our 3 Step Grooming Process is:
Step 1 - Your pet is brushed thoroughly, nails trimmed and if your breed requires, hair removed from its ears.

Step 2 - Your pet goes into the bathing room where an experienced bather cleans your pet's ears and places cotton in them to prevent water from going into the ears. Then they are thoroughly washed with the specific shampoo and conditioner that your pet coat requires. Your pet is then dried with a special dryer that helps remove old hair and undercoat. This dryer also prepares the coat for clipping.

Step 3 - Your pet comes back to the grooming table for the styling and finishing touches.

Prices depend on breed, size, temperament, coat condition and complexity.
