Hide recurring seriesCat Video Fest 2026
CommunityCat Video Fest returns to the Capitol Theatre! Cat Video Fest, presented by Oscilloscope Laboratories, is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. Each year, across the country, they partner with a cat-focused charity near the theater, with proceeds from each show helping folks like us to keep looking out for our furry friends. This year’s local partner is Purrs and Whiskers. In addition to the Cat Video Fest film, local cat owners can submit their photos and/or videos of their own cats and watch them before the main feature on the Capitol Theatre screen. To submit, email photos or videos of your furry friends to aj@romecapitol.com . Landscape videos are preferred and videos should be under a minute in length, and don’t forget to include their name so they can be seen on screen! Rating: All Ages Runtime: 70 minutes Language: English Format: 2D Digital Venue: Capitol Theatre Purchase Tickets Here

Social Security Information Program
FamilyProgram Objective: Provide individuals between the ages of 55 and 70 with a thorough overview of critical factors to assess before claiming Social Security benefits, empowering them to make informed and strategic decisions. Social Security Challenges: Given recent news reports surrounding an uncertain future for Social Security, the decreasing availability of corporate pension plans, increased life expectancies, rising divorce rates, and a growing elderly population, retirees face the significant risk of exhausting their savings if they rely solely on these government benefits. Claiming Social Security benefits has become more complex due to a rapidly changing retirement landscape. Today, retirees have two choices; they need to plan carefully, or risk losing significant future benefits. Since there is no one-size-fits-all approach for claiming Social Security benefits, individuals frequently encounter difficulties interpreting program rules and assessing the long-term financial impact of their choices. Many previously effective strategies are now outdated, underscoring the importance of evaluating overall retirement income needs rather than focusing strictly on program-specific guidelines. FAQs addressed: ? When is the appropriate time to begin collecting Social Security? ? What options exist to support the continued solvency of Social Security? ? Is it more important to focus on Social Security regulations or a cash flow strategy? ? Is coordination with a spouse advisable before claiming benefits? ? Is seeking professional assistance recommended when claiming benefits? Background: This program has been made possible as a public service by Retirement Solutions, LLC, a financial education company. Disclaimer: This program is for informational purposes only and is not a sales seminar nor is it intended as a substitute for tax, legal and/or financial guidance. Individual claiming strategies and personalized advice will not be provided. This program is not endorsed or a
